My most memorable surf contest experience in Kirra Surfriders was the Clean Water Challenge in 2000.
It was held at Main Beach and the Kirra Surfriders team took out the final against Snapper Rocks, it was a memorable experience for me and my son Matt Lee.
Matt was in the winning team which had some of the greatest surfers in Australia such as, Mick Fanning, Damon Harvey, Corey Ziems, Jason Stevens and John "Bear" Cummings.
