In my experience..........
over the years working in committee positions and, now being President since 2000 .
I regard it as an honour to be in that role for one of the oldest and greatest clubs of all.
Kirra has come from humble beginnings way back in the 60's.
The origins of the club formation would not have been possible had it not been for our club patron, Johnny Charlton.
Without John's great generosity and foresight our founding members would not of had the opportunity to experience the lifestyle and the art of surfing.
To attempt to name all passed committee and club members, club champions would be impossible, they are too numerous to mention.
But I sincerely thank you all. You know who you are.
Kirra Surfriders aim has always been to ensure the future and development of our club.
Also to nurture dedicated committee members and future champions and to have fun in the sun. Enjoy the following history of our club.
